Street Dancer Review
Movie Review :-
Yesterday I saw a movie on Amazon Prime - Street Dancer. Well, to be honest, I thanked myself that I didn't go to the Hall to watch it. It was an average film with an Audience Rating of 3.8. If you want a movie just for the sake of entertainment or if you are a dance enthusiast, it could be appealing for you, but for the majority of the public, it isn't.
It was something similar to its two sequels (ABCD and ABCD2).
Movie Summary :-
The movie is about a boy Sahej(Varun Dhawan) who wants to become a good dancer like his brother. The name of their dance group is Street Dancer. They are basically from Punjab, currently living in London.
Now comes another group of Inayat(Shraddha Kapoor) named The Rule Breakers which is from Pakistan. They are also residents of London.
Both these groups keep on having dance battles, in the restaurant, on streets and so on. To win the battle from Inayat's group, Sahej brings in his girlfriend Mia(Nora Fatehi), who was a professional dancer of The Royals, a group of dancers from the UK.
Here comes the turning point of the film, which I actually like. Ram Prasad(Prabhudeva), the manager of the restaurant calls in the poor people who are illegal immigrants in London who are actually natives of India and Pakistan. They can't earn even a penny to have a piece of bread. He serves them with the food which the rich customers leave or throw away. Inayat gets to know about this and it hurts her a lot.
On one fine day, all the major groups of the world get notified for an upcoming event, Ground Zero. Everyone is eager to participate in it, because of the huge prize money which is being offered. There are different kinds of people who want the money for different reasons but then there was Inayat, who wanted to win the prize money to help those illegal immigrants, to go back to their nations.
Sahej was so much into defeating her group that he left his own group of Street Dancers and joined in with The Royals. Later he gets acknowledged about the reason why Inayat wants to win. During the Finals, he suddenly quits from The Royals and merges his team with The Rule Breakers. Inayat decides to name the new team as Street Dancers in the honour of Sahej's brother. Because he always wanted to win The Ground Zero event.
The two teams together thrill the stage with fire. They finally when the money and send all the illegal immigrants to their native countries. Few of them decide to take that money and start a job in London itself.
